The International Journal of Society, Media and Technology (IJSMT) invites applications from qualified academics, researchers, and professionals to join its Editorial Board for the inaugural issue. We welcome applicants with expertise in society, media, communication, journalism, information science, digital technology, artificial intelligence, public policy, and interdisciplinary social science research.
Available Editorial Positions
1. Editor
The Editor will provide academic leadership, supervise the peer-review process, guide editorial policy, and support the international visibility of the journal.
- Lead the editorial direction of the journal.
- Ensure academic quality and ethical publication standards.
- Support indexing, visibility, and international collaboration.
2. Associate Editor
Associate Editors will manage manuscript submissions, coordinate peer review, communicate with reviewers, and provide editorial recommendations.
- Handle manuscripts within their area of expertise.
- Invite reviewers and monitor review progress.
- Recommend editorial decisions based on reviewer reports.
3. Assistant Editor
Assistant Editors will support manuscript screening, formatting checks, editorial communication, metadata preparation, and journal website updates.
- Assist with initial manuscript checking.
- Support communication with authors and reviewers.
- Help with formatting, references, metadata, and publication records.
