Peer-Review Policy

The International Journal of Society, Media and Technology follows a double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality, integrity, and academic rigor of all published articles.

  • Double-blind review: Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other.
  • Reviewers: Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent experts in the relevant field.
  • Evaluation criteria: Originality, methodological rigor, clarity, relevance to the journal’s scope, and contribution to knowledge.
  • Decision outcomes: Manuscripts may be accepted, accepted with minor revisions, revised and resubmitted, or rejected based on reviewers’ recommendations.
  • Ethical standards: Reviewers are expected to maintain confidentiality, declare conflicts of interest, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Editorial oversight: The editorial board makes the final decision based on reviewers’ recommendations and alignment with the journal’s scope and standards.
